The Municipality of Paombong respects and values your fundamental right to privacy and is committed to ensuring that all personal data collected are processed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules and regulations. In the course of delivering public services, the Municipality collects personal information such as name, address, contact details, date of birth, civil status, government-issued identification details, and, when necessary, sensitive personal information including health-related data. These data may be collected through various means such as forms, online submissions, and transactions with our offices.
The personal data collected are processed for legitimate purposes including but not limited to the provision of government services such as business permitting and licensing, health services, civil registry, and other public assistance programs, as well as for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, communication with constituents, and internal administrative functions. The processing of personal data is carried out based on lawful criteria such as compliance with legal obligations and the performance of official functions of the Municipality.
The Municipality may share personal data with authorized government agencies such as the Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Health, Bureau of Internal Revenue, and other entities as required by law. All data sharing activities are conducted in accordance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations, ensuring that appropriate safeguards are in place.
The Municipality implements reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Personal data are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected or as required by applicable laws and government retention policies.
As a data subject, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object to its processing, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request erasure or blocking, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission in case of violation of your rights.

ABISO SA PAGKALIHIM NG DATOS
Ang Bayan ng Paombong ay kinikilala at pinahahalagahan ang inyong karapatan sa pagkapribado at nangangakong tiyakin na ang lahat ng personal na datos na nakokolekta ay pinoproseso alinsunod sa “Data Privacy Act of 2012” at sa mga kaugnay nitong patakaran at regulasyon. Sa pagpapatupad ng mga serbisyong pampubliko, nangongolekta ang Bayan ng personal na impormasyon tulad ng pangalan, tirahan, detalye sa pakikipag-ugnayan, petsa ng kapanganakan, katayuang sibil, detalye ng mga pagkakakilanlang ibinigay ng pamahalaan, at kung kinakailangan, sensitibong personal na impormasyon kabilang ang mga datos na may kinalaman sa kalusugan. Ang mga datos na ito ay maaaring makuha sa pamamagitan ng mga form, online na pagsusumite, at iba pang transaksyon sa aming mga tanggapan.
Ang mga nakolektang personal na datos ay pinoproseso para sa mga lehitimong layunin kabilang ang pagbibigay ng mga serbisyong pampubliko gaya ng pagproseso ng business permit at licensing, serbisyong pangkalusugan, civil registry, at iba pang programa ng pamahalaan, pati na rin para sa pagsunod sa mga legal at regulasyong kinakailangan, pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga mamamayan, at mga gawaing administratibo ng tanggapan. Maaaring ibahagi ng Bayan ang personal na datos sa mga awtorisadong ahensya ng pamahalaan tulad ng Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Health, Bureau of Internal Revenue, at iba pang mga ahensya na hinihingi ng batas. Ang lahat ng pagbabahagi ng datos ay isinasagawa alinsunod sa mga umiiral na batas at regulasyon sa data privacy at sinisiguro na may sapat na mga pananggalang upang maprotektahan ang inyong impormasyon.
Ang Bayan ay nagpapatupad ng angkop na mga hakbang sa seguridad—organisasyonal, pisikal, at teknikal—upang maprotektahan ang personal na datos laban sa hindi awtorisadong pag-access, pagbubunyag, pagbabago, o pagkasira. Ang mga personal na datos ay itinatago lamang sa loob ng panahong kinakailangan upang matupad ang layunin ng pagproseso o ayon sa itinakda ng batas at mga patakaran sa record retention ng pamahalaan.
Bilang isang data subject, mayroon kayong karapatang mabigyan ng impormasyon, ma-access ang inyong personal na datos, tumutol sa pagproseso nito, magpabago ng maling impormasyon, humiling ng pagbura o pagharang ng datos, at magsampa ng reklamo sa National Privacy Commission kung sa tingin ninyo ay nalabag ang inyong mga karapatan.
